North Campus Resource Battle

ESW together with the Residential Student Congress would like to promote electricity, heating, and water conservation through the *North Campus Resources Battle*. This competition will take place between the freshmen dorms, and we will be measuring electricity, heating, and water usage from *February 1st to March 1st*.

Solar Ovens

Building and testing solar ovens for use in developing countries

Partnership with Groupo Fenix, and NGO in Nicaragua

Subteams include:

Data Collection/analysis
Box cooker testing
Parabolic cooker testing
Construction of a new box cooker

Veggie Van

1997 Chevy Diesel Express Van

Converted to run on WVO with a greasecar conversion kit

Need to jumpstart the battery and test it on oil

Finish mounting the fuel gauge

Partner with a grad student for emissions testing

Study older dormitories to determine ways to save energy on heating
